The Challenge Outdoor Adventure Program.

An adventure education program in partnership with Prescott High School.

The Challenge Program offers immersive outdoor adventure education opportunities for High School students under expert adult leadership and guidance

The Challenge story.

The Azimuth Quest Foundation created the Challenge Outdoor Adventure Program in partnership with Prescott High School in the Fall Semester of 2019.

The Challenge Program offers immersive outdoor adventure education opportunities for High School students, with expert adult leadership and guidance while also providing for student participation in planning, preparation and implementation of field outings.

Challenge is committed to creating a positive, welcoming and inclusive environment, one that fosters a sense of belonging and unity within our participating students. Challenge outings and activities take place in settings that require students to communicate, collaborate, and build trust among themselves, all vital skills in today’s world.

The Challenge Program provides students with gear necessary for outings; everything from camping and backpacking equipment up to mountain bikes and river rafting and kayaking gear. And while there are per-trip participation fees, Challenge and the Azimuth Quest Foundation can provide scholarships to students with financial hardships, always striving to make outdoor adventure experiences attainable for all students.
